While Maggie's Chippy has much to celebrate, some guests note the cash-only payment policy as a drawback. This requirement can be inconvenient for those who prefer card payments, especially when combined with the busy peak hours. Reviews mention occasional waits during rush times, particularly on Fridays at dinner, which might deter those looking for a quick meal. Limited seating can also lead to full occupancy during peak visitation hours, making finding a table a bit challenging. A few diners have mentioned wanting a more expanded menu to accommodate additional dietary needs, though the current gluten-free offerings are a good start.
